Information Technology - Software Application
Software Application divided into 4 categories that must be completed by the participants:
- Document Processing
- Spreadsheet
- Graphics and Electronic Presentation
- Database
The software application will be used :
- Microsoft Word 2007
- Microsoft Excel 2007
- Microsoft Power Point 2007
- Microsoft Access 2007
- Corel Draw X4
- Adobe Photoshop CS3
Table, database manipulation, query, form, sub form, report, switch board, etc.
Web Design
For Web Design categories, participants will complete ability in designing and programming a website for client and server side. This competition will be divided into 4 modules:
- Module A : Graphic Design Template
- Module B : Front End
- Module C : Animation
- Module D : Back End
The software application will be used (select depends on your need) :
- Adobe Dreamweaver
- Adobe Flash
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Sound Forge
- PHP
- MySQL
- PHPMyAdmin
Mechanical Engineering CADD (Computer Aided Drawing and Design)
CADD category will compete ability in drawing technique for one or several object based on direct object that given. Participants are allowed to use one of the related application, i.e. (optional, appropriate expertise) :
- Autodesk Inventor 2008 (priority)
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Mechanical Desktop 2008
Graphic Design Technology
Design Graphic category will compete ability in design graphic with related application, i.e. (optional, choose one) :
- Macromedia Freehand
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
